Here at Pathway Careers Training Center, you will be trained by well qualified professional trainers. You will be equipped with both theory and technical knowledge in your chosen field. Our programs curriculum includes blended practical theory-based study and hands-on laboratory and clinical experience.

NURSING ASSISTANT PROGRAM

The Nursing Assistant Program at Pathway Careers Training Center gives individual’s an opportunity and introduction to the nursing industry. This training will provide you the knowledge, skills, training and hands on experience needed to become certified Nurse Assistant. Graduates of our program are well prepared for the requirements to pass the state certification test and are well position to be successfully employed in the health care settings such as hospitals, long term care facilities, home health cares and hospices.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of Age
  • Must have either High School Diploma or GED
  • Must agree to complete background check
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray
  • Completion of 120 hours of Instruction and Clinical training to become Certified Nursing Assistant in order to comply with State requirement.

PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

The Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program at Pathway Careers Training Center gives individuals a confidence in their skills and abilities, which sets them up for success and rewarding career in healthcare industry.  Our program prepares student to successfully collect blood specimens from patients and prepare the samples for testing and laboratory analysis.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of Age
  • Must have either High School Diploma or GED
  • Completer 80 hours of applied experiences;
  • Performance of a minimum of 30 successful unaided venipuncture collections;
  • Performance of a minimum of 10 successful unaided capillary collections;
  • Instruction in a variety of collection techniques, including vacuum collection devices, and capillary/skin-puncture methods.
  • Successful completion of  exam:  Phlebotomy Technician, as administered by the National Healthcare Association
